Syria’s interim Foreign Minister, Asaad Shaibani, also known as ‘Zaid al-Attar’, is set to embark on a diplomatic tour of the Middle East, visiting Qatar, the UAE, and Jordan next week. This comes on the heels of his inaugural foreign visit to Saudi Arabia earlier this week.
As the newly appointed foreign minister, Shaibani’s trip aims to strengthen Syria’s ties with its regional counterparts. His visit to Saudi Arabia marked a significant step in this direction, and the upcoming visits are expected to build on this momentum.
The visits are expected to focus on strengthening bilateral relations, with discussions likely to cover key areas such as trade, security, and humanitarian cooperation.
