External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar will visit the United States from December 24 to 29, 2024. This marks the first high level engagement between India and US following the victory of Donald Trump.
During his six-day trip, Dr. Jaishankar will engage in bilateral talks with his American counterparts, focusing on key regional and global issues.
The visit aims to strengthen the strategic partnership between India and the US, with discussions on trade, commerce, defense, and security cooperation. Dr. Jaishankar will also chair a conference of Indian Consul Generals in the US to boost economic ties and cultural exchange according to the ministry of External Affairs.
